Celebrate the total solar eclipse with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra on August 20th in Washington Park! For the festival weekend, the symphony will present our first ever outdoor pops concert with special guest violinist, Alexander Markov. Come early to lay out a blanket and enjoy a picnic with your family and friends before the evening blasts off with your favorite sci-fi film scores including the Star Wars Suite, E.T.: Adventures on Earth, selections from Apollo 13 and more! Then experience the virtuosity of Markov as he takes the stage with his custom gold electric violin to perform excerpts from his Rock n’ Roll Concerto with a classical twist. The Casper Children’s Chorale, will delight concert goers with pre-concert entertainment before the symphony begins at 8:00pm. It’ll be a sci-phonic spectacular evening under the stars!
