The Wyoming Medical Center 2nd Annual Volunteer Expo will be October 19, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Events will include tours, a panel of health experts discussing the benefits of volunteering and special guest Taylor McGregor, reporter for News 13 as our keynote speaker: Taylor McGregor volunteers on the surgical floor and volunteering is a staple of Taylor ’s that developed from the roots of her family’s desire to make a difference. For Taylor, it began with the R.O.Y. foundation. Her father founded “Reaching out to Youth” in efforts to knockout Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that devastates around 200,000 families a year. The foundation helped build the Mike McMorris Cystic Fibrosis Research and Care Center at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. The center is one of the premier CF clinical and research centers in the country. Her parent's service through R.O.Y. not only helped those affected by CF but instilled in Taylor the value of giving back. The event will be held in the McMurry Conference Rooms A&B. If you have ever considered volunteering this is a great opportunity to learn more about how volunteering can benefit you! For more information please contact NJ Olsen at 577-2794,
