Session 1: OSHA Enforcement and Employer Obligations of COVID-19

This presentation will cover how current OSHA programs and policies are being handled during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as, explain enforcement activities and employer obligations. John will be able to answer any questions you may have concerning OSHA and how the pandemic relates to it.
Session 2: OSHA Recordkeeping and Electronic Submission 10:00-11:00am
Presented by John Olaechea, OSHA-Region VIII
During this presentation, John will provide training on OSHA recordkeeping, including how to properly complete recordkeeping forms, when to submit them, and what industries and companies are required to do so. This is an extremely timely topic, as records must be finalized and completed by March 2021.
John Olaechea is the Compliance Assistance Specialist for OSHA in Region VIII. He provides outreach and information about safety and health hazards and OSHA policies and regulations to employers, trade associations, unions, the public and other organizations. Prior to this position, John worked for eight years as an industrial hygienist and compliance officer for the Englewood Area Office of OSHA. John also served in the United States Peace Corps and graduated from Wright State University (Ohio) with a degree in environmental health science.
