Bob Budd, Executive Director of the Wyoming Wildlife & Natural Resource Trust, will provide our Chamber members with the most up to date information regarding the listing of the Sage Grouse and what that might mean to Natrona County and the State of Wyoming.
A recent report released by the Western Association of Fish & Wildlife (August 17, 2015) shows that the male greater sage-grouse population in the Powder River Basin has increased over the past two years, which could mean the bird avoids an endangered species listing.
That’s good news to communities like Casper where the endangered species listing could hamper energy development and negatively impact our economy.
Plan on attending this informative luncheon program.
