This workshop is designed for beginners through advanced artists who wish to be introduced to Gouache watercolors in creating works of art. Gouache is a technique that uses pigments such as traditional transparent watercolors, water and a binding agent to make the colors opaque. Landscapes will be the central focus of the class, but the use of the medium in Western, Wildlife and other art forms will also be discussed. Using a limited palette, students will first see a demonstration painting and then begin work on their own painting with assistance from this award-winning and highly-noted instructor. The class is at ART 321 on October 12 & 13 from 10-4 each day. The cost is $140 for ART 321 members; $165 for non-members. A supply list is available online at ART 321 here: http://casperartguild.org/workshops.html
