Please see more details below on this presentation. We hope you're able to attend.
Are you hiring the right person?
This presentation will be provided by an upper level communications class studying gender at Casper College. The target audience for this presentation will be staffing companies, human resources personnel, and anyone who would do the hiring for their business. Their goal is inform about how gender can still affect whether the right person is being hired or not. We know there are laws against gender discrimination, so our purpose is to simply provide statistics and researched information about how gender bias can and still happens during the interview and hiring process. The information in our presentation will be available on a brochure that we will provide and we will also have a short evaluation at the end of the presentation.
The presentation will take approximately 30 minutes. Coffee and water will be provided. You can bring your own lunch if you prefer as food will not be served. We would greatly appreciate your support.
Please RSVP for you or your representative.
