Dress for Success Donation Drop-off

Dress for Success Casper is accepting professional clothing donations Friday, May 12, from 10am to 12pm at the back door of FC Outlet. The store is located at 216 E. 2nd. Use the alley behind the store. We'll have a Dress for Success sign on the door. Ring the bell and one of our volunteers will help you unload your donations.

Our purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.

We provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, but we are about much more than simply a new outfit. Besides physically equipping the client with apparel and accessories, our programs furnish her with a confidence that she carries forever and the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.

Clothing Donation Guidelines – March 2023
Donations accepted in boxes or bags, preferably on hangers.  No loose items or storage boxes.
Clothes should be currently in style - no older than 5 years and suitable for wearing to job interviews or work.
Monetary Donations are accepted to purchase items we don’t have in inventory – bras, undergarments, shoes, toiletries, and cosmetics.
 
Clothing Accepted
Professional separates - Blouses, pants, skirts, dresses, blazers, cardigans, jackets, camisoles.
Work appropriate shoes and boots - wiped clean, in new or like new condition.
Professional Handbags – Handbags, wallets, briefcases, or portfolios
Jewelry and Scarves – Jewelry – clean, not broken, appropriate to wear for an interview. Scarves – appropriate to accessorize and outfit for an interview.
Dress Coats – Outerwear scarves, dress gloves, dress hats
Undergarments – Bras and Sports Bras, underwear, tights, stockings, trouser socks, shape wear. All undergarments must be new with tags.
Toiletries – Shampoo and Conditioner, Deodorant, Toothbrush and Toothpaste, Body and Face Wash, Body and face lotion, Razors and Shaving Cream, Period Products. All toiletries must be new and unopened.
Cosmetics – Mascara, Eyeshadow and eyeliner, Blush and bronzer, Lipstick and lip gloss, concealer and foundation, Makeup brushes and remover, makeup bags. All cosmetics must be new and unopened.
 
Clothing Not Accepted

• Stained, worn, or torn.
• Clothing currently not in style – more than 5 years old
• Used undergarments, socks, stockings.
• Opened make-up or toiletries.   
• Athletic wear
• Evening, bridal or formal wear
