AR World Championship 2017 hosted by CAMECO COWBOY TOUGH

Some of the world’s most elite athlete’s will cross the finish line in Casper, after one of the most phtsically and mentally grueling challenges they’ll ever face.  50 teams from more than 30 countries will have 6 days to cover up to 500 miles of Wyoming terrain traveling by foot, mountain bike, vertical roping, and boat during the Adventure Race World Championships.  They’ll follow a map with mandatory checkpoints across vast ranch lands, teetering mountains, authentic ghost towns, dramatic canyons, and alpine rivers.  They’ll race through history along old wagon roads and mountain passes used for the Oregon Trail, the Pony Express, and the Gold Rush as they chase the $25,000 first place prize.  As the host city, Casper will also be the home of smaller fitness challenges for those of us who aren’t ready for the AR World Championships, events TBA.  Opening Ceremonies August 8th.
